Meet Your Instructor
Dr. Jaynstein graduated from the University of St. Francis PA program in Albuquerque, NM in 2009. She was the recipient of the Eugene Stead Clinical Student of the Year 2009 and Alumni of the Year in 2018. Dayna practices clinically in emergency medicine at a level I ED where she is the lead APP Educator and Ultrasound instructor. She has been in PA education since 2013 as an Assistant Director and Professor at a PA program in Colorado.
She is a Past-President of the Society of Emergency Medicine PAs, a PA liaison to several physician organizations, was the PA founding member of Times Up Healthcare, and currently serves on the board of The Society for Point-of-Care Ultrasound. Dayna was awarded the Colorado PA Educator of the Year award in 2020 and the “Raising the Line” award in PA education by Osmosis Medical in 2022. She is a nationally recognized speaker, a published author, and leader in the advancement of Point-of-Care Ultrasound use by PAs.
